Run for the Trees of Liberty
Do you care about the environment around you when you run? Join those who support tree planting in areas where greenery is needed and desired! Since 2005, nearly 3,000 new trees and bushes have been planted nationwide thanks to the financial contributions of local runners and our collaboration with the Partnership Foundation.
This year celebrates the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and the Czechoslovakia foundation, and you can run for Trees of Liberty 1918–2018! It’s a campaign that helps us re-discover trees planted during milestones of our history, treat them with special care, and plant more. The goal is to plant a symbolic 2018 lime trees this autumn throughout the republic, reminding us of the importance of freedom and democracy.
How can you join? When filling out the registration form, select “Support for Planting Trees” and contribute 250 CZK (Prague runs) or 100 CZK (regional runs). You can find out more about the campaign at .
